The Menomonie Minute was created to fill a vital gap in our community: the need for a reliable, accessible local news source. With the decline of traditional print outlets like the Dunn County News, I recognized the importance of having a dedicated platform to keep the Menomonie community informed.

My mission is simple: to provide trustworthy, timely, and relevant local news for everyone in Menomonie. The website and newsletter are free because staying informed shouldn’t come with barriers. However, to make this sustainable and grow the Menomonie Minute’s coverage, I’m opening two key revenue streams:

1. Ad Space for Local Businesses
   Supporting local businesses is essential—not just for this site but for the Menomonie area’s economic growth. By advertising with the Menomonie Minute, businesses can connect with an engaged local audience.

2. Community Donations
   If you value the news and stories I share, consider becoming a supporting member. Your contributions help ensure I can dedicate the time and resources needed to bring you quality local news.
