The Andersen Corporate Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its spring 2023 grant round, including organizations in the Menomonie area. The Foundation announced grant commitments totaling more than $2.3 million to 85 nonprofit organizations in its first of two grant rounds this year.
Funding decisions in the Menomonie area are guided by a committee of local Andersen employees, ensuring that grantmaking supports areas of local priority.
Organizations that received grants include:
Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, Northwest Area - $7,500 to support trades and industrial education, and advance equity in education hours.
Hope Gospel Mission Inc. - $9,000 to support individuals facing hunger and homelessness in Eau Claire, WI and the surround area.
The Bridge to Hope, Inc. - $5,000 to help end domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking and support individuals in starting a life that is free from abuse.
Andersen has a longstanding history of supporting communities in which employees live and work. As part of this $2.3 million in grant commitments announced, the Andersen Corporate Foundation has pledged $1 million over the next four years to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s Build Forward Together campaign, supporting Habitat’s work to break down barriers to homeownership.
