Ann-Marie Ellis (LaCombe), 72 of Menomonie, WI, formerly of Rangeley, Maine, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on March 5, 2025.
Ann-Marie was born Aug. 24, 1952 to William and Clara LaCombe in Putnam, CT and raised in Danielson, CT. Ann moved to NH for several years before moving to Rangeley, Maine where she met and married Hal Ellis. After 25 years, they moved to WI to be near her sister Cathy and sister-in-law Julie.
Ann-Marie is survived by sisters Jan Bessette of CT and Cathy LaCombe (Julie Ulberg) and Hal Ellis all of Menomonie, WI. Niece Lisa (Jeff) Heidtmann, nephew Jeff Diaz all from CT, great nephews Nate (Samantha) Maclure, Matthew Maclure and great great nephew Dean all from Maine, and special friends Robin Guy (Lee) and Deanie Haley of Maine and Lynn Putney of NH and many other friends and relatives and her rescue dog Emmet.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Don Bessette, and nephew James Diaz and her beloved dog Sam.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Dunn County Humane Society.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with Chaplain Bonnie Geurkink officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A light lunch will follow the service.
