Candace E. Jordan



Candace Emily Jordan passed away on December 13, 2024, at her home in Menomonie, Wi. She was born July 13th ,1951, in Long Island, NY, daughter of John and Mary Arthur and sister to David, Jacqui and Ryk. Candy grew up in Palo Alto , CA, and Chicago , IL, where she met her husband of 55 years, Bruce Jordan.


Candy obtained a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Candy had 30 years of teaching experience at multiple levels and finished her career as a beloved 2nd grade teacher at Oaklawn Elementary in Menomonie.


Candy was always full of joy and humor and had an abundance of kindness, compassion and curiosity for other people and the world. She was a loyal, thoughtful, outgoing and a fun loving friend to many. Candy was a devoted parent and grandparent and always showing unconditional love and support. She was a lifelong learner, an avid reader, music lover and an accomplished gardener. Mostly she loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.


She is survived by her husband Bruce, children Evan and Bennett, daughters-in-law , Mina and Tully, and grandchildren Elmer, Inez, Henry , and Marie.
