At their meeting on August 5th, the City Council adopted Ordinance 2024-11 to Repeal and Recreate Title 6, Chapter 1, Section 12 All-Terrain and Utility Terrain Vehicle Usage. The council had been discussing changes to the existing ATV/UTV regulations for the past several meeting. The change will increase designated routes and strengthen requirements for ATV/UTV users.
The ordinance will go into effect on October 1, 2024. This will allow sufficient time for installation of the required signage. This ordinance will be reviewed by the Council in October of 2025 to see if any changes are needed.
