Darlene M. Hanson, age 95, of Menomonie, WI passed away January 9, 2025 at her home in Menomonie.
She was born to Edward and Irma (Pecore) Anderson in Prairie Farm, WI. Raised and attended School in Rice Lake.
Darlene's most prized possession was her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She is survived by the love of her life, Sherman Hanson, married in 1974. Darlene lived for and loved her 7 children very much, Susan (Arnold) and Ivan Schlough, Rich Arnold, Mel Arnold, Colette (Arnold) Suckow, Joan (Delegard) and Dan O'Connell, Jim Delegard, Missy (Delegard) Hanson and friend Brian Sime. Darlene also loved 3 Step-children, Cindy (Hanson) and Bill Egger, Lorri (Hanson) and Jeff Scanlon, Alan Hanson and Tracie DesJardins. She is also survived by one sister, Leila Anderson, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and friend Diane (Arnold) Berry.
Darlene is preceded in death by Edward and Irma Anderson (Parents), Rich Arnold (Son), Dean Arnold (Grandson), Troy Lockert (Step Grandson). 6 Brothers and 6 Sisters. 2 husbands Melvin Arnold and Carol Delegard.
Darlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Boyceville, WI.
Memorials can be directed to Trinity Church Sunday School Program.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI with Pastor Brad Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Hay River Cemetery in Town of Hay River, Dunn County, Wisconsin.
