4-H’ers Recent Activities

Dunn County 4-H Clubs held food drives for their communities while also trying to see which club could gather the most non-perishable food items per member. Dunn County 4-H'ers did an excellent job. They collected 546 items. The winning club that collected the most per member was the Connorsville Comets.

Dunn County 4-H hosted a Spring Break Stay-cation Event at the Dunn County Government Center on March 20th and 21st. During it, they lead fun spring break activities and discussed different camping and hiking safety tips. The 4-Hers sang songs, played games, and made survival bracelets and a needlepoint picture to take home.

The Colfax Comets 4-H club is involved in their community. Their seasonal activities include collecting supplies and food donations at Thanksgiving, decorating Christmas cookies and making cards for nursing home residents, and Colfax Fairgrounds beautification in June.

Club members participate in diverse 4-H projects, from animals (dogs, beef, pigs, small animals, etc.), and arts and crafts (photography, ceramics, painting, cake decorating, foods, etc.) and so much more!
