Residents of area nursing homes were fortunate to recently receive tie blankets made by local Girl Scout Troop 3015. The girls made the blankets as a service project and donated them to three area nursing homes.
Troop members are Samantha Anderson, Annella Wolbert, and Sophia Casper. All of the girls are 6th graders at the Menomonie Middle School.
This is just one of many service projects that area Girl Scouts perform in the community demonstrating the Girl Scouts mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Great job girls!
