Jeff Jaeger named CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley

The Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley is pleased to announce that Jeff Jaeger has been named the new Chief Executive Officer. Jeff's unwavering focus will be to enhance the lives of the children and teens we serve. We are delighted to welcome Jeff to the Boys & Girls Club.

Jeff Jaeger joins the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley with over 20 years of leadership experience in our communities. He has shown his passion for serving youth through extensive volunteer work, including as a member of the Boys and Girls Club Advisory Council in Menomonie and a leader in the Chippewa Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He has also been involved in the Menomonie Area Chamber, the Greater Menomonie Area Economic Development Corporation, and the City of Menomonie Economic Development Corporation.

Before joining the Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley, Jeff spent 14 years as a leader in the credit union industry, serving as Vice President most recently at WESTconsin Credit Union, while helping community members to meet their financial goals. He focused on effective operations and community collaboration, emphasizing financial literacy. Jeff has been a part of the Mad City Money financial literacy challenge at Menomonie High School for many years. His desire to teach financial skills to youth lead to his collaboration in the regional Finance Quiz Bowl. In addition, Jeff has taught Junior Achievement for 14 years.

The CEO search process was conducted over several months by Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s CEO Search Team, in partnership with a Search Committee led by Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley board member Jason Plante and other dedicated board members.

For Jeff, the BGCGCV opportunity is an honor,

“As a long-time volunteer who believes in the Mission of the Boys and Girls Club, I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to bring my passion to work with me each day as a leader for this excellent organization. The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley has a long-standing history of bringing outstanding programming to the youth in our community, thanks to the talented staff, dedicated board members and volunteers, and generous donors. My goal is to continue to lead this organization forward by extending our outreach to all youth in our community through fundraising and awareness opportunities while building upon the excellent program that already exists.”

When not at work, you will find Jeff spending time with his wife and four sons. He appreciates the opportunities to be actively involved in his children’s lives through scouting, coaching, and teaching Junior Achievement in their classrooms. The Jaeger family enjoys all the outdoor opportunities Western Wisconsin offers, including hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, and snowshoeing.
