The DECA District 1 Career Development Conference is being held at UW-Stout on Saturday, January 11, 2025. MHS DECA is looking for judges to help with this event.
Approximately 500 students from Marketing and Business Education programs from 18 high schools will be competing in career pathways like business management, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Judge help provide these students with an authentic, hands-on learning experience as they tackle real-world business challenges.
As part of DECA’s mission, these students gain critical skills for college and careers, from applying classroom knowledge in practical business contexts to showcasing their ideas through competition. Through DECA, students become academically prepared, community-oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders. If you'd like to learn more about DECA’s impact, check out deca.org.
Judges would be volunteering from 8 am to 1 pm, which includes an orientation. Lunch will be provided afterwards.
