Lisa A. Magnuson

Lisa A. Magnuson, age 68, of Elk Mound, WI passed away March 29, 2025 at her home.

She was born on March 29, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to parent Alvin and Theresa (Alias) Krause. Lisa grew up and lived in Milwaukee, WI.

Lisa dedicated many years to working in accounting and admin work.

She was a devoted animal lover whose compassion had no bounds. Lisa opened her heart and home to animals, both great and small. She provided heated shelter and care for 18 stray cats. Lisa also maintained six fish tanks while caring for her two horses.

She is survived by husband, Tom Magnuson; daughter, Kari Murray; Magnuson stepchildren, David, Lisa, Michael, Steven, Joel and Lenae Peterson; grandson, Aiden Murray; granddaughter, Brennan Smith (by daughter Danielle). She is further survived by sister Jacque Van Nutter and niece Sarah Hazelhurst.

She is preceded in death by parents Alvin & Theresa Krause and daughter Danielle Smith.

A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held at a later date.
