Nick Madsen and Sam Wurm from Troop 103 received the Eagle Scout award at a Court of Honor held at Christ Lutheran Church on December 10th.

The Eagle Scout award represents the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges. The Eagle Scout must demonstrate Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages.

Nick is the son of Dave and Marisa Madsen and is a senior at Menomonie High School. For his service project he built a gaga ball pit at Christ Lutheran Church.

Sam is the son of Joe and Kaye Wurm and is also a senior at Menomonie High School.

For his service project he built and installed bat houses at Christ Lutheran Church.

This summer both Nick and Sam will be attending the National Jamboree in Virginia.
