MAKE IT! Schedule

February 6:  Zipline Action    Explore the science and engineering of ziplines. You'll design and test how angles, weight and friction impact speed, and observe forces of gravity while solving a problem — transporting an object from one place to another in a fast, efficient manner. Try different materials and see what zooms down a zipline the fastest!

February 13:  Origami Valentines   Learn and use the Japanese art of paper folding to create a valentine for a friend or loved one! Or try out other designs!.

February 20:  Paper Quilling 101    Quilling is an art form that involves rolling, shaping and gluing paper strips to create decorative designs. The name comes from the early use of bird feathers, or quills, to coil the paper.

February 27:  Warp and Weft    Explore weaving, a textile art that involves interlacing two sets of threads to create fabric. The threads are called the warp and weft, and are woven together on a loom or other device.
