Marlene F. McDonald age 67 of Menomonie, WI 54751 went home to Jesus Sunday March 16, 2025.
She was born on June 22, 1957 in Ladysmith, WI to Andrew Cabak and Shirley (Zahurones ). She grew up in the Hawkins area and graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1975.
She earned a two-year associate degree from UWC Barron County Campus in Rice Lake, WI. This is where she met her future husband. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from UW Stout in Menomonie, WI.
Marlene married Craig on June 25, 1977 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawkins, WI. They moved to Menomonie and had four children. Marlene loved God and passed her faith to her family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie for more than fifty years. Marlene enjoyed reading, spending time with her loved ones, cooking/baking, movies, music, T.V., and gardening.
Marlene is survived by her husband Craig of Menomonie; four children Steve and Sara of Menomonie, Paul and Anne of Eau Claire. She was also survived by seven grandchildren, six siblings, nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Shirley.
Visitation will be held at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI on Thursday March 20, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie on Friday March 21,2025 at 11:00am with Father John Mano officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Menomonie, WI.
