Mayo Clinic Health System awards scholarships to high school graduates in Northwest Wisconsin


Graduating seniors from Northwest Wisconsin area high schools recently received $1,000 scholarships from Mayo Clinic Health System to pursue education in a healthcare-related field. This program is supported by the Northwest Wisconsin Community Giving Committee as part of the organization's commitment to the community and healthcare workforce development. 



The recipients are:


  • Altoona - Jayla Saenwong will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in pre-neuroscience medicine.

  • Barron - Emma Thompson will attend Winona State University to pursue a degree in nursing and healthcare administration.

  • Bloomer - Paige Rufledt will attend Saint Mary's University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in pre-physician assistant.

  • Boyceville - Sarah Stoveren will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a degree in pre-medicine, biology.

  • Cameron - Mykala Stovern will attend Winona State University to pursue a degree in athletic training.

  • Chetek-Weyerhaeuser - Jennie Skoug will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in pre-medicine, biomedical science.

  • Chippewa Falls - Aiden Wickland will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a degree in pre-medicine, psychology.

  • Colfax - Jaycey Bowe will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to pursue a degree in healthcare administration and business.

  • Cumberland - Jacob Schradle will attend Viterbo University to pursue a degree in nursing.

  • Durand-Arkansaw - Cody Brunkow will attend Winona State University to pursue a degree in exercise science.

  • Eau Claire Memorial - Isabelle Topper will attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to pursue a degree in pre-pharmacy.

  • Eau Claire North - Katie Rassbach will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in pre-medicine, biology.

  • Eau Claire Regis - Ava Moore will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College to pursue a degree in diagnostic medical sonography.

  • Eleva-Strum - Annika Skoug will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to pursue a degree in exercise science.

  • Elk Mound - Kaydyn Nielson will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing.

  • Elmwood - Morgan Sailer will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing.

  • Glenwood City - Lisa Yang will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to pursue a degree in pre-medicine, biology.

  • Menomonie - Madeline Fick will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in psychology.

  • Mondovi - Shaelee DeWitt will attend the University of Wisconsin-Stout to pursue a degree in psychology.

  • New Auburn - Morgan Berg will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College to pursue a degree in surgical technology.

  • Osseo-Fairchild - Halle Colby will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to pursue a degree in physical therapy.

  • Prairie Farm - Lauren Kahl will attend the College of St. Scholastica to pursue a degree in nursing.

  • Rice Lake - Ayla Zuzek will attend the Milwaukee School of Engineering to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering.

  • Spring Valley - Olivia Schlegel will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to pursue a degree in pre-medicine.

  • Turtle Lake - Mackenzie Tarman will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in nursing.
