The Menomonie Public Library announced today that it received a $100,000 donation from the Mayo Clinic Health System Northwest Wisconsin Community Giving Committee to be used for its Outdoor Space Project. Jenny Jorgenson, Community Engagement Specialist at Mayo Clinic Health System writes:
“Recognizing the many ways this investment will impact the health and well-being of the Menomonie community and knowing what an incredible partner the library has been in community wellness efforts; we are confident this donation towards the library aligns well with our priorities of meeting the needs of our patients in Dunn County and beyond.”
The library is incredibly grateful for this gift and the opportunity to continue partnering with Mayo Clinic Health System to do good together.
Since public funding does not cover all of the library’s costs, the library is extremely grateful for generous donations such as this so it can continue to make a positive impact in the lives of people in Dunn County.
If you are interested in donating a gift of any amount, please contact Joleen Sterk, Menomonie Public Library Director.
