Today (July 11th) MFD was incredibly fortunate to be a part of the 54th Civil Support Team’s Hazardous Materials training operation that took place at Cedarbrook Church.
The focus of the training was to investigate and gain intel on chemical and biological weapons labs, decontamination, and extraction of an injured team member from the hot zone. Any opportunity to train on hazardous materials is incredibly valuable, especially when we get to observe and work with teams like the 54th. The knowledge, equipment, and personnel they provide are spectacular and we are very thankful to be able to have them as a resource to call.
A special 'Thank You' goes out to Cedarbrook Church for allowing us to use their facilities for the training today and all of the trainings they’ve hosted in years past. We sincerely appreciate it.
