MHS Senior Izzie Whitwam headed to State

Menomonie High School Senior Izzie Whitwam qualified for the WIAA State Gymnastics meet with a second-place finish on bars at the sectional meet in Ashland this past Saturday.

The team secured a 4th-place finish at the sectional. Whitwam finished 7th in the all-around. Other top finishers in the all-around for the Mustangs were Grace Nevin, 14th place; Cassiah Casey, 17th place; and Claire Mikesell, 26th place.

The state meet is in Wisconsin Rapids this weekend. Individual competition begins on Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 am.
