Last week the WBCA (Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association) held their annual high school All Star games at Just A Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells from June 27-29.
Top senior boys and girls basketball players from around the state were selected for the Division 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 teams to compete in the games.
Selected members were asked to raise funds that would benefit various organizations such as the MACC FUND, Garding Against Cancer, Camp Waubeek (Easter Seals), Hometown Heroes and Ronald McDonald House. Each charity received $20,000 through the donations.
Charlie Morning (#2 - bottom row, second from right in above picture) from Menomonie High School was selected to the Division 2 White All-Star Team. This was an incredible honor to represent MHS and the Menomonie community.
The D2 White team defeated the Red team 115 to 101.
