Protect Your Identity – Freeze Your Credit!
Did you know that placing a credit freeze can help prevent identity theft? A credit freeze stops creditors from accessing your credit report, making it harder for fraudsters to open accounts in your name.
Does it affect your credit score? No!
How do you freeze your credit? Contact the credit bureaus:
Equifax: https://www.equifax.com/
TransUnion: https://www.transunion.com/
Experian: https://www.experian.com/
If you need to apply for a loan, you can temporarily lift the freeze for one to 30 days.
