Notes for the Week - August 10th

To all middle school parents, posted on the Parent/Guardian Alliance Facebook page: You should have or will be receiving the 6th - 8th Meet and Greet Day and Picture Day Flyer in the mail soon. Unfortunately, there is a typo in the first paragraph. The correct day of the Meet & Greet is MONDAY, AUGUST 28TH FROM 7:30AM - 3:30PM. Please disregard the Wednesday, August 31st date. It should read Monday, August 28th. Sorry for the error.

Share on the Stepping Stones Facebook page: To remember her daughter Olivia, who passed away late last year from a medical condition, Casey celebrated Olivia's June birthday by making birthday bags to donate to the food pantry. She turned to Facebook to ask if anyone wanted to help, and she was overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support she received for the project. What she originally thought would be a few bags turned into 109 birthday bags full of cake mixes, frosting, sprinkles, balloons, and more!

Thank you, Casey, and everyone involved in this project, for helping to make birthdays a celebration for those who may not have the means to celebrate. You have put smiles on many faces in our community...just like Olivia did!
