From the Menomonie Caring Closet Facebook page: We'll be open Saturday, March 2 from 10 to noon and Wednesday March 6 from 5 to 7 pm. Come check us out at New Life Nazarene Church 1002 8th Street for free clothing. It's in the basement so we apologize for not being handicap accessible. We accept donations when we're open. If you have any size 8 girls or boys jeans to share, we'd appreciate them. Our rack is pretty empty. We very much appreciate all contributions so we can continue to help those in need.

Kellen Cassellius, a volunteer with the Dunn County Fish and Game, has received WQOW's Jefferson Award. Watch the news clip HERE. The Jefferson Awards Foundation was created in 1972 by the American Institute for Public Service. The Jefferson Awards are given at both local and national levels. Local winners are ordinary people who do extraordinary things without expectation of recognition.

EMBER + EVE CO. is moving from their current location at 544 South Broadway to 332 Main Street in Menomonie (located between California Burrito and the Game Quest). They expect to be reopening sometime the beginning of March.
