MENOMONIE, Wis. — Bekah Wink, D.N.P., a nurse practitioner, recently joined the Family Medicine Department at Mayo Clinic Health System Red - Cedar in Glenwood City and Menomonie.
Wink earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and completed a nurse practitioner residency at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
"My focus when providing care revolves solely around each individual and their own personal desires and goals," Wink says. "I strive to understand my patients and what their personal and health goals may be. I will work collaboratively with my patients and their families to strive toward the level of health they hope to achieve. It is very rewarding to build relationships with my patients and families, improving their health and making a positive difference in their lives."
Wink's professional interests include pediatric and adolescent health, women's health, contraceptive options and various in-office procedures.
Wink lives on a small farm with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside with her family, gardening and reading.
