On Monday, January 16, the city council will consider a request for rezoning that was filed by Java Companies. The request is to change the south 60 feet of lots 13 & 14, Block 1, Oak Park Addition from Single-Family Residential District (R1) to Local Commercial District (B2). This property is located just to the east of Culvers at 1403 5th Avenue E.
Java Companies is looking to build a drive-thru coffee shop called Scooter's Coffee.
