Did you know? Storm drains flow directly into Lake Menomin, the Red Cedar River, Galloway Creek, and other waterways. The City recently received a report of motor oil that was dumped down a storm drain. Dumping motor oil, concrete washout, paint, and other substances down the drain is illegal.
The City Solid Waste Site (1601 Gilbert Creek Rd) accepts used motor oil for FREE.
Nothing but rainwater or snowmelt should go down a storm drain.
