A new bookstore will be opening soon in Menomonie. Dragon Tale Books will be opening next door to Bookends on Main which will be closing. The Grand Opening is scheduled for December 31st.

Why are we called "Dragon Tale Books"? Menomonie author Rob Bignell will explain when he reads "The Legend of Dragon Tale Books" at our Grand Opening on Dec. 31!
We commissioned Rob, the author of more than 40 books, to write the legend and put together the book. "The Legend" is constructed like a children's tale with watercolor-styled illustrations of several locations in Menomonie and Dunn County.
After the reading, Rob will be on hand to sign copies of the book (or of any of his other titles that we carry).
We're still working on the full schedule for the Grand Opening events - which we'll release soon - but in addition to the reading we have music, an early New Year's Eve countdown, free stickers, and snacks (of course, snacks!) planned.
