Built in 1934, the bridge is nearing the end of its service life. WisDOT is proposing to:
Replace the existing structure with new bridge
Reconstruct 240 feet of roadway west of the bridge and 360 feet east of the structure
Replace guardrail and pavement markings
During construction, US 12 will remain open to a single lane of traffic at the bridge controlled by temporary traffic signals.
Construction currently is scheduled for 2028.
